Good question. I didn't shoot 35mm film for the project, but I did shoot THROUGH 35mm film. The system I use basically uses 35mm lenses to expose onto a 35mm film frame, but instead of a photo-chemical reaction the footage is digitized right away and stored onto memory cards.

So yes, it's 35mm, but no, it's not film.
Which camera? Sony EX1 or 3? Or something else that has a full 1080 raster chipset?
